About Maison Valère

Maison Valère began with a wardrobe that was too full yet never felt complete. We wanted to do things differently: design fewer pieces, but make them better. Each season, we present a handful of items that work together, complement one another and last for years.

We choose fabrics for both their feel and performance: how wool flannel holds a crease after a day, whether merino remains soft and whether denim keeps its shape after the third wash. A design only enters production once its fabric passes these tests.

We produce in small runs with workshops we have long-standing relationships with. That can mean waiting for a new delivery—but it also means minimal overproduction and close attention to fit and finish.
